Rental Policy

Age Requirement

Due to the types of vehicles we rent, our insurance provider requires that we only rent to those drivers over the age of 25.

Insurance

You are required to carry your own liability and physical damage policies. You must verify with your insurers that coverage is provided for the vehicle being rented.

If you do not have adequate coverage, we will require that your purchase the necessary coverage before your experience.

Additional Drivers

Two drivers may be listed as authorized drivers. Each additional driver thereafter must complete a separate rental agreement and will be subject to the same age, and licensing restrictions as the primary renter(s).

International Renters

Vehicles are available to international visitors with a valid passport and driver's license from their home country, with some exceptions. Please call us to inquire if your home country qualifies.

Delivery / Pick-up

Vehicle delivery and pick-up is available to your door and any airport. We will gladly deliver anywhere in the United States . Our delivery fee is $2.49 per mile.
Please note: All pick-up and delivery arrangements must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance in order to guarantee on-time service. Any changes to pick-up or delivery times/locations with less than 24 hours notice may incur an additional fee.

If you choose to pick up your rental vehicle at our office, we offer free parking for your own vehicle for the duration of your experience.

Return Times

American Dreams, Inc. is flexible about vehicle return times (we are not sticklers demanding a 24-hour rental has to be returned exactly 24-hours later), but once we have made a return appointment, we need to stick to it. There will be a 1-hour grace period with your scheduled return time, after which you may be subject to additional daily rental fees.

Damage Deposit

All renters must leave a damage deposit in the form of a credit card authorization. Any damage found on the vehicle upon return will be billed against this authorization. This amount varies depending on the vehicle being rented.

Cancellation Policy

When you make a reservation, we may authorize your credit card immediately for up to the full cost of the rental, though you will not be charged until you physically take possession of the vehicle.

Due to the types of vehicles we rent there is a limited supply to offer and therefore pack the schedule very tightly. We offer a 24-hour grace period after you make your reservation to cancel (unless the rental is within 7 days), after which there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental cost.

If you cancel or reschedule less than 7 days before your rental (or are a no-show at the time of rental), you will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental cost.

At our sole discretion, cancellation fees may be waived for severe weather conditions that might make driving dangerous (i.e. snow, ice, hurricane, tornado).

Please understand that there are no exceptions to this cancellation policy.

Payment Methods

Preferred methods of payment for your experience and damage deposits are:

• MasterCard
• American Express
• Discover

In certain cases, cashier's checks or cash may be accepted if pre-arranged. Personal or Business checks are not accepted.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are valid for up to one full year from the date of purchase.

Refueling

All vehicles are rented with a full tank and must be returned full, with premium unleaded fuel.
When you refuel, you must use 91+ octane, unless stated otherwise. There is a $500.00 fee for refueling with a lesser grade because lower octanes may severely damage vehicles.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for vehicle experiences or gift cards. However, our goal is total satisfaction for our customers, so in certain situations we may offer credit for additional experience days. This is solely at our discretion.

In the event of an unforeseen mechanical failure during or prior to a rental, we will make every effort to repair or replace your vehicle with a similar or better model at no additional cost to you.

Driving Area Restrictions

Vehicles rented from our Denver or Phoenix office may not be driven outside Colorado of Arizona without prior approval.

Under no circumstances may any of our vehicles be driven outside of the USA .

Prohibited Uses

The vehicles may not be used:

• By anyone not licensed to drive or who's Driver's License has been suspended or restricted.
• For any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity.
• To carry persons or property for hire,
• To push or tow anything,
• To teach anyone to drive.
• On any unpaved surface.
• To exceed any posted speed limits in any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, etc.
• On any racetrack or road course.

In the event of a violation of these Prohibited Uses, we reserve the right to remotely disable and retrieve the vehicle.

Tickets

Renter's are responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs, etc.

Mileage

Daily rentals include 100 miles per day, unless stated otherwise. Each additional mile driven will be subject to a change at the stated mileage rate.
